Star Lake Family Fun Day 2025!

Star Lake Family Fun Day, August 2, 2025, another great success! - Hundreds of folks showed up again for a day of activities, races and prizes. I'm told it was another great day of fun at Star Lake! (Sadly, my wife and I weren't there to enjoy it. But, thankfully, Ainsley Nicole sent me some information and images to post. Doug C.)

"Wow — did Star Lake ever show up today!

I want to take a moment to recognize Maureen Fann and thank her for the incredible job she’s done continuing to lead the Star Lake Family Fun Day! The time, effort, and care she puts in — not to mention mentoring me through tasks and patiently answering my 100 questions — is truly appreciated. Days like today simply wouldn’t be possible without Maureen and her entire family.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated to the Silent Auction — your generosity makes such a difference.

And finally, to ALL the volunteers: we see you, we appreciate you, and we can’t do this without you. Thank you for stepping up year after year — you make this day possible.

Wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the August long weekend here at beautiful Star Lake!"
